The Community Development Corp. (CDC) is now accepting grant applications for the Community Capacity Building Fund.
The CDC has $20,000 to invest in projects and would like to maximize impact by funding a variety of projects in both for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations/social enterprises.
The maximum amount of funding that may be requested from one organization is $3000.00
The intent of the funding is to strengthen our communities by supporting projects that are incremental, address local needs and priorities and result in long term benefits including job creation, economic diversification, and enhanced business competitiveness.
Eligible Activities are any projects, purchases, training or other activities that improve opportunities for growth and/or success within the organization.
Eligible Recipients:
Must be located in the City of Orillia or the Townships of Oro-Medonte, Ramara or Severn, or the Chippewas of Rama First Nation and must be structured as: a non-profit organization (including municipalities); or a for- profit business (sole proprietor, partnership or corporation)
It is strongly recommended that applicants contact the CDC before submitting an application.
