PROPERTY TAX VACANCY REBATE PROGRAM

Information Session

 

The City of Orillia is looking for feedback on possible changes to the Vacancy Rebate Program for Commercial and Industrial properties. The Province is providing municipalities flexibility for 2017 and future years; allowing municipalities to tailor the Vacant Rebate program to reflect community needs and circumstances, while considering the interests of local businesses.

 

An Information Session has been scheduled for:

Wednesday, June 7th, 2017

5:00-6:00 p.m.

Tudhope-McIntyre Boardroom

Orillia City Centre

 

Commercial/Industrial business owners and members of the public are invited to attend the Information Session to meet with staff to review and provide feedback on the existing Property Tax Vacancy Rebate Program and any possible changes to the program.

 

Attendees will be provided with opportunities to:

  • Comment on the current Vacancy Rebate Program,
  • Offer suggestions or new alternatives, and
  • Consider and provide comments on the options presented.
