Connor Campbell was hired in July of 2020 as a Full-Stack Developer for Caredove, an e-referral platform that aims to provide quick and easy access to home care and community services. In the 6 months he worked there he collaborated with the other programmers and team members on a number of different projects including database migrations, the creation of online forms and the development of Caredove’s API. “I’ve been able to learn a lot of new technical skills while contributing to these projects, and I’ve been lucky to have been working with experienced co-workers who are always willing to help,” says Campbell.
“It’s thanks to Katie Maracle at the CDC and the Youth Employment Program that I was able to get an opportunity with this company in the first place. Now that I’ve completed my first 6 months and reached the end of the program, I’m looking forward to my future as a full-fledged member of the team at Caredove.”
