Trevor Hewitt, Hewitt’s Farm Market & Bakery

Located just west of Orillia in Warminster, Hewitt’s Farm Market & Bakery is a family-owned and operated farm led by second-generation farmer Trevor Hewitt. After taking over the family business in 2010, Trevor expanded the operation with an on-site bakery and later launched the Fun Farm agritourism experience. From their own maple syrup and sweet corn to homemade butter tarts, pies, and preserves, Hewitt’s has become a beloved local destination for fresh Ontario produce, baked goods, and family fun.

 

 

Emma Hammond, Hammond Baking Co.

Born and raised in Orillia, Emma Hammond is the owner of Hammond Baking Co., best known for her sourdough loaves, pretzels, and English muffins at the Orillia Fairgrounds and Gravenhurst Farmers’ Markets. Through persistence and creativity, she has grown from small beginnings to becoming one of the market’s most popular vendors, often selling out quickly. With a social media following in the thousands, Emma has built her business full time on a love for baking and community.

 

Matt Ricetto, The Ricetto Homestead

Located in the heart of Moonstone, Ontario, Ricetto Homestead is a small-scale, community-focused farm led by Matt Ricetto. Dedicated to sustainable and ethical farming, Matt raises pasture-raised pork, chicken, and lamb, alongside fresh seasonal produce. From homemade frozen meals and soups to pickled preserves, Ricetto Homestead brings the flavours of the farm directly to local markets and family tables across the region.
