PATHWAYS TO EMPLOYMENT

We're connecting eligible youth to local employers across Orillia & Lake Country through our Pathways to Employment program!If you’re between the ages of 15-30, not enrolled in full-time school, legally entitled to work in Canada, and seeking permanent full-time employment, this FREE 26-week program is for you! Participants will earn a minimum of $14.25/hour, and receive complimentary employment coaching, one-on-one mentorship, and job readiness training that will help prepare them for today’s competitive labour market. Employment skills training will focus on areas such as: • Resume and Cover Letter Writing• Interview Preparation • Workplace Etiquette • Job Search Techniques Participation in the Pathways to Employment program begins upon confirmation of eligibility. Highlights of the program include: • Work from home opportunities• Access to health benefits and wellness programs • Flexible working hours • Work supports and enhanced employment resources Wage subsidies will be provided to qualified employers for up to 26 weeks.
