Customize your Facebook & Google My Business experience with our specially developed hands-on workshops!
Facilitator Kirsty Stevenson of KIRSTO and Samantha Vessios of the CDC will spend the day ensuring all of your digital business needs are met! Whether you’re starting from scratch or need help utilizing your existing page, they’ll be by your side to answer your questions & assist you through the process. Please note these workshops are intended for the business’ social media managers. Sessions will be held in the Orillia Public Library’s computer lab so leave those laptops at home!

Morning (Beginner)

Level 1: Google My Business9:00 am – 10:30 am

Google is the world’s leading search engine! Ensure your business is showing up & accurately displaying the information your customers need to know.

  • Set up Google My Business account
  • Learn how to get reviews

Level 2: Intro to Facebook11:00 am – 12:30 pm

  • Start from scratch, set up your account
  • Discussing the “whys”

Afternoon (Advanced)

***Must have an existing Facebook page

Level 3: Creating Facebook Content1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

  • Discussing goals & who your target audience is
  • Spend 5-10 minutes creating 10-20 content topics followed by a group discussion
  • Build a post
  • Fill in content calendar (ie. must-do’s)

Level 4: Building a Facebook Ad3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

  • Step-by-step guidance & tips
