The Orillia Area CDC has four working committees:


  • Executive Committee has final signing authority for the Corporation and conducts staff performance reviews. It includes 6 members: the Past President, President, 1st Vice-President, 2nd Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
  • Investment Committee reviews all loan applications over $10,000 and makes decisions regarding approvals or declines.  They also make recommendations with respect to areas of a loan applicant’s business plan which the Committee feels could be improved.  Currently, it includes 9 members.
  • Risk Management Committee assesses and makes recommendations to staff regarding appropriate follow-up procedures for loan client accounts that appear to be in trouble.  Currently, it includes 3 members.
  • Community Opportunities & Development Committee is responsible for the development and implementation of community projects that promote economic development and job creation. Currently, it includes 14 members.
